With reference to the articles 13 and 14 of the European Regulation EU 2016/679, Fondazione Un Raggio di Luce ETS, data controller, communicates to you in relation to the processing of personal data relating to you, collected through your direct provision, also through filling out forms on the website.
The processing we intend to carry out concerns your personal identification data and contact details and is of a personal nature.
The data you provide into these categories:

These data are collected in order to proceed with sending the information for a better knowledge and greater proximity to the Foundation's projects. In addition to these, in the case of donations to the Foundation's projects, we also process the following categories of data relating to you:
- date of donation
- amount of the donation
- reason for the donation
- payment method
- Tax ID code
- IBAN (only in case of donations with continuous domiciliation)
Knowing your name and surname allows us to personalize the communications we send to you. Knowing your e-mail address allows us to deliver the information to you without additional costs and with certainty that the shipment has occurred.
Knowing your postal address, if freely provided by you, allows us to also send you the contents in paper format to deeply update you on the Foundation's institutional activities carried out in Italy and around the world.
Knowing the data relating to your donations allows us to promptly administer donation flows according to the principle of maximum transparency and adapting ourselves concerning the obligations on data communication that the Revenue Agency has made mandatory in 2020.
Knowing your tax code (which we archive and process only if you have made at least one donation, and only when you provide it to us) allows us to provide you with a nominative receipt with a summary of the donations done in the previous year, useful for tax breaks when filing your tax return.
The personal data that we ask you to register for the newsletter and to make a donation are necessary to allow us to send you the information material developed for the newsletter or to manage your possible donation. Your refusal to communicate these data to us does not make it possible to follow up on your requests. The legal basis for these treatments is therefore the execution of a If you make a donation, your contact details may be used by the Foundation to send you information material relating to initiatives similar to those you have participated in in the past, for promotional or propaganda purposes of our activities. The processing of your data will be based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and will be carried out with IT tools but also with paper archives suitable for archiving, managing and transmitting them and will take place using suitable tools, to the extent reasonable and according to the state of the art, to guarantee security and confidentiality through the use of adequate procedures that avoid the risk of loss, unauthorized access, illicit use and dissemination.
The data may be available to third parties, who will act as independent data controllers, and who provide services instrumental to satisfying the user's request (for example, credit institutions or credit card issuers to manage donation payments ) or to whom the communication of data is necessary to comply with laws or regulations.
In cases where the communication of donation data to the Revenue Agency is optional and not mandatory, the information on your donation may be communicated to the organization to facilitate its tax obligations but only following your consent given by telephone.
Your personal data will not be communicated for other purposes nor, much less, disseminated.
The transfer of personal data to third countries may only take place with your consent or if alternatively authorized on the basis of an adequacy decision of the third country to which the data are transferred, adopted by the European Commission pursuant to art. 45 of the GDPR, or the adoption of appropriate guarantees, as provided for in articles 46, 47 and 49 of the GDPR.
The personal data will be available to personnel within the Foundation expressly authorized and designated as data processors, who carry out essential activities for the pursuit of the purposes indicated above, such as the people responsible for providing specific services, administration, management of information services, relationships with actual and potential donors, organizers of information campaigns on our projects.
Based on the purposes for which the processing is carried out, data retention is expected for the entire duration of the period in which your membership will remain valid. The data will be retained until the interested party exercises the right to object; otherwise, they will be kept as long as Fondazione Un Raggio di Luce ETS continues its mission with projects, initiatives, actions and activities that require economic contributions, in addition to the need to comply with fiscal and accounting obligations in the case of donations.
Concerning to the art. 13, paragraph 2, letter (f) of the Regulation, we inform you that all the data collected will not be subject to any automated decision-making process, including profiling.
