Un Raggio di Luce is a non-profit laic and indipendent organization operating in Italy and in developing countries. Founded in early 2004 by the businessman Paolo Carrara and his family, it operates in several countries of the world and collaborates with many partners who share the vision, the values and the sponsor project.

Un Raggio di Luce strives to improve the quality of life of underprivileged communities, with direct actions and targeted aid tailored to the real needs of individual people, families and communities.
The values which inspire us are:

Un Raggio di Luce avoids the use of images and messages that can create a stereotype, discriminate people, situations or places and / or create sensationalism and uses images, messages, and case studies with the full understanding, participation and authorization of the subjects involved (or parents of the subjects)

2023
In 2023 we continued to operate as always, even if in difficult geo-political situations.
Every single contribution allowed us to carry on 28 projects in 6 countries, helping more and more mothers and children
2022
2022 was a complex year due to the conflict and geopolitical conditions. Despite this, we have reached more than 16,000 people with 29 projects carried out or supported, in 8 coutries in Italy and around the world.
2021
2021, like the previous year, was a year of great challenges. We have continued to provide emergency grants in Italy as well and the geo-political conditions of the countries in which we operate have worsened.
2018
In 2018 we helped over fifty thousand people with our projects, mostly women and children. Over 500 thousand euros have been spent on direct help activities for children and their families.
2017
2017 was a year of consolidation for the Foundation. In fact, € 298.960 were disbursed for 33 projects in favor of children, women and men in Italy and in the world.
2015
Questo rapporto racconta il nostro 2015, un anno di progetti, attività, sorrisi, emozioni ma anche di sofferenze, ingiustizie, violenze e morti. Un anno in cui nei principali Paesi esteri in cui operiamo si sono verificati eventi naturali o politico-militari in alcuni casi molto gravi, in altri addirittura drammatici.
2014
Il rapporto tiene conto delle attività realizzate nel 2014 nei Paesi in cui la Fondazione Un Raggio di Luce è impegnata. Il documento racconta i progetti realizzati e i risultati raggiunti nell‘anno in cui la Fondazione ha celebrato i suoi primi dieci anni di attività, soffermandosi inoltre sui dati economici e le azioni di comunicazione.
