In occasione della Festa dell’Infanzia Missionaria di mercoledì 6 gennaio alle ore 15 presso la Chiesa di Vignole (Quarrata, Pistoia) Silvia Vienni della Fondazione Un Raggio di Luce Onlus parlerà dell’esperienza missionaria di suor Elvira Tutolo, missionaria della Carità di Santa Giovanna Antida Thouret,che ha deciso di dedicare la sua vita ai bambini e ragazzi in difficoltà del Centrafrica, uno dei Paesi più poveri della Terra.
La Fondazione sostiene suor Elvira e il suo progetto denominato Kizito dal 2006. I soldi raccolti dai bambini del catechismo della parrocchia di Vignole e destinati al progetto di suor Elvira serviranno per garantire ai 180 ragazzi seguiti da suor Elvira e dalle famiglie locali che li accolgono cibo, acqua, un riparo sicuro, l’assistenza sanitaria e psicologica di cui hanno bisogno.
