The project arises from the cooperation among the Foundation, Coop Italia and Maheela a Nepalese cooperative made up of women who produce silk and cashmere scarves.
Thanks to the sale of these scarves from Coop Italia the Napalese workers can have a respectable job and obtain a fair wage that allows them to improve life quality.
For each scarf Coop and the Foundation give an additional contribution of € 0.50 that supply a social fund in favour of the Nepalese association Women‘s Foundation that will finance social utility projects for womens of the community (education, medical/legal assistance, children assistance etc).
