The success of the pilot project "A Home, A Family", in which the Foundation in 2008, along with the Famiglie Nuove Onlus Association of the Focolare Movement, has built 67 homes for families in shanty places in some locations in the Philippines, a laboratory For the vocational training of carpenters and a nursery, has led the Foundation to renew its commitment to carrying out construction and renovation of housing, involving the families themselves.
The aim is to transform the wooden booths of the Sponsorship Programme Children into real masonry homes and thus give dignified homes to the remote support children‘s families. Families will be directly involved in construction and renovation work to enable them to work and cater to their own family.
