Social Business Lab Pistoia (SBLP) is an association of social promotion, which has been active on the territory of the town of Pistoia since August 2015. SBLP has the goal to promote, in particular in Pistoia and in its area, the culture and the practice of social enterprise (Social Business) in its various forms, drawing on experience, teaching and on the principles elaborated by Professor Muhammad Yunus.
Social Business Lab Pistoia was born from to the will of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia e Pescia and Fondazione Un Raggio di Luce Onlus in order to reinforce and consolidate the initiative Social Business City, a program of activities, which focuses on the promotion of the culture of the social enterprise in the town of Pistoia, inaugurated in July 2012.
